Our Policy

Tecnica FA are an FA Chartered standard football club. We ensure our coaches and volunteers are trained and accredited by the F.A, provisioning us well to provide a highly professional and well managed organisation for the development of youth football.

Tecnica Football Academy is registered with and are active participants in the FA respect programme, we also practice and adhere to the FA Safeguarding, FA equality policy and procedures.

At Tecnica FA our focus is creating a fun environment for our youngsters to develop Technically and Socially providing a platform to express themselves on the football pitch.

Since 2016 we have grown year on year, in 2020/21 we are excited to be introducing our youth curriculum which will develop children’s understanding of the game, decision making and football techniques over a 14 week macro-cycle. This will apply for children from U7’s through to U18’s. However we start training for younger children from 4 yrs of age upwards.

Continued development is achieved with support from our staff and the generous contributions made by companies and individuals who wish to give something back and help build a legacy in the Beckenham, West Wickham and Shirley communities. If you are able to sponsor the club or a team, please contact Warren Berkley. The club relies on these sponsor ships to improve and expand.

Tecnica Football Academy enters teams into the Tandridge League from Under 7’s upwards, which serves as an excellent environment for competitive and fair football, We encourage children to join our teams so they can practice the skills they learn in training in real life. Being in a team also helps children to develop strong relationships with their team mates, learning to win and (just as importantly) lose as a team and learn the importance of teamwork and commitment.

We grade our teams to enable players of similar ability to play together and to play opposition teams of a similar standard, this aids player development. Players will learn to play in different positions during matches as this also aids their development and awareness of the game.

Players, parents and supporters should always abide by the FA Code of Conduct, respecting the referee, all players, managers, officials and other supporters. Bad behaviour will not be tolerated.
