Tecnica FA – Understand the technique, understand the game
Tecnica FA is an FA Charter Standard Football Academy with enthusiastic FA Level 1 – 3 qualified coaches, that coach children from the foundation age through to youth’s finishing at U18’s.
Understand the technique, understand the game – In all positions of the game, different technique”s are required, (from defence in receiving the ball to attack and scoring a goal). We will train children and youths in all the football techniques which will allow them to master the game.
We apply football techniques learnt through Dutch Coerver training that has been adopted by teams like Ajax, Barcelona, Benfica and Bayern Munich, combined with our very own UEFA B Level 3 coach through the UK FA system. Austin Berkley is our Academy Director – ex professional player and former manager of Crystal Palace U10’s – U12’s.
Understanding the game is fundamental to our sessions.
Arsene Wenger quoted ‘”The problem in football is that you learn how to play [the wrong] way round – first execution, then decision making and perception last.”
At Tecnica FA we build the players technique around the concept of the team as technique needs to be learnt across all positions.
Our teams play in the Tandridge football league which provides a competitive games for all abilities.
Tecnica FA Strategy
Tecnica FA sets high standards in football coaching.
Our qualified coaches work to a football curriculum over a 14 week macro-cycle that adds structure, and reference to children’s coaching. Our coaching is adopted from the football principles within KNVB (Dutch FA). Better Football Action’s – a concept that teaches children the ability to understand the game, make better football decisions and execute their decision with improved technique.
Working to a curriculum allows us to assess and analyse players development in a systematic approach.
Through ball mastery, dynamic 1v1, small sided games and actual games we will develop the players technique, tempo of play, and speed of decision making.
Each training will not only improve their football skills but we aim to challenge them cognitively and physically. Through some player led sessions children will develop confidence and social skills.
Understand the technique, understand the game.
